New Mexico High School Basketball - Artesia knocked off by Carlsbad
December 3, 2022: Artesia, NM 88210 The Carlsbad Cavemen basketball team scored 55 points and held the host Artesia Bulldogs to 45 in the Cavemen non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Cavemen now sport a 1-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Gadsden for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 6. Carlsbad will meet a Panthers team coming off a 55-36 non-league win over Jefferson (El Paso, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 2-3.
The Bulldogs (0-3) will now prepare for their contest against Valencia (Los Lunas, NM). The Jaguars enter the non-league contest with a 1-4 record.
