New Mexico High School Basketball - Carlsbad over Clovis
February 7, 2023: Carlsbad, NM 88221 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Carlsbad Cavemen (Carlsbad, NM) and the visiting Clovis Wildcats (Clovis, NM), saw Carlsbad's basketball squad overcome Clovis by a tally of 48-40.
With the victory, Carlsbad improves its record to 16-7 on the campaign. The Cavemen travel to Roswell (Roswell, NM) to confront the Coyotes in a 5A District 4 challenge on Friday, February 10. The Coyotes come into the challenge with a record of 12-11. Roswell lost 75-64 in their recent league challenge against Hobbs (Hobbs, NM)
Next up, the Wildcats confront the Hobbs Eagles (Hobbs, NM) in a 5A District 4 challenge, on Friday, February 10. Clovis will attempt to improve on its 10-12 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 12-11 record after their 75-64 league win over Roswell (Roswell, NM).
