The Bellevue East Chieftains basketball team scored 74 points and held the visiting Lincoln High Links to 46 in the Chieftains non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Chieftains now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Gretna for a A District TBD contest on Thursday, December 8. Bellevue East will meet a Dragons team coming off a 44-28 non-league win over North Platte (North Platte, NE). The Dragons record now stands at 1-1.

The Links (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Kearney (Kearney, NE). The Bearcats enter the A District TBD contest with a 1-1 record. In their last contest, Kearney was routed by Millard South (Omaha, NE), 74-41, in a non-league contest.
