The Taylor Ducks defeated the visiting Giddings Buffaloes basketball squad by a final score of 64-49 in Tuesday's non-league outing.

The Ducks (2-1) will now prepare for their contest against McCallum (Austin, TX). The Knights go into the non-league contest with a 8-3 record. In their last contest, McCallum topped LBJ Austin (Austin, TX), 53-48, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Buffaloes confront the Anderson-Shiro Fighting Owls (Anderson, TX) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, December 5. Giddings will attempt to better on its 1-1 season record. The Fighting Owls go into the contest with a 1-1 record after their 61-37 non-league win over Centerville (Centerville, TX).
