North Carolina High School Basketball - Weddington overwhelms Parkwood

December 3, 2024: Matthews, NC 28104

The Weddington Warriors basketball team scored 69 points and limited the visiting Parkwood Wolf Pack to 22 in the Warriors non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Warriors now possess a 4-2 record. They play next when they host Cox Mill for a non-league game on Thursday, December 5. Weddington will confront a Chargers team coming off a 68-65 non-league win over Kings Mountain (Kings Mountain, NC). The Chargers record now stands at 3-1.

With the loss, Parkwood falls to 1-5 on the campaign. The Wolf pack travel to Porter Ridge (Indian Trail, NC) to confront the Pirates in a non-league game on Friday, December 6. The Pirates go into the game with a record of 0-6. Porter Ridge lost 57-46 in their recent non-league game against East Mecklenburg (Charlotte, NC)
