North Carolina High School Basketball - Warren County routs Weldon

In Tuesday's league contest, the host Warren County Eagles basketball team scored a big 66-43 triumph over the Weldon Chargers.

The Eagles (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Northwest Halifax (Littleton, NC). The Vikings go into the 1A Tar Roanoke contest with a 1-1 record. In their last contest, Northwest Halifax smashed Northampton County (Gaston, NC), 34-31, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Chargers confront the Southeast Halifax Trojans (Halifax, NC) in a 1A Tar Roanoke contest, on Friday, December 6. Weldon will attempt to better on its 0-1 season record. The Trojans go into the contest with a 2-1 record after their 56-32 non-league loss to Roanoke Rapids (Roanoke Rapids, NC).
