In Wednesday's league test, the Wilson Prep Tigers (Wilson, NC) basketball squad knocked off the visiting Warren County Eagles (Warrenton, NC), by a score of 59-42.

Next, the Tigers encounter the Southeast Halifax Trojans (Halifax, NC) in a 1A Tar Roanoke test, on Friday, February 14. Wilson Prep will attempt to improve on its 20-1 season record. The Trojans come into the test with a 3-19 record after their 71-23 non-league loss to Nash Central (Rocky Mount, NC).

The Eagles (11-9) will now prepare for their test against Rocky Mount Prep (Rocky Mount, NC). The Jaguars come into the 1A Tar Roanoke test with a 7-13 record. In their last test, Rocky Mount Prep went down by Weldon (Weldon, NC), 55-24, in a league test.
