Nebraska High School Basketball - Freeman overwhelms Sacred Heart
December 30, 2022: Adams, NE 68301 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Freeman Falcons (Adams, NE) and the visiting Sacred Heart Irish (Falls City, NE), saw Freeman's basketball squad wallop Sacred Heart by a count of 66-36.
With the victory, Freeman upgrades its record to 8-0 on the campaign. The Falcons host Southern (Wymore, NE) to play the Raiders in a C2 District 1 challenge on Tuesday, January 3. The Raiders come into the challenge with a record of 3-3. Southern won 60-50 in their recent non-league challenge against Johnson County Central (Tecumseh, NE)
Next up, the Irish play the Elmwood-Murdock Knights (Murdock, NE) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 3. Sacred Heart will attempt to upgrade on its 4-3 season record. The Knights come into the challenge with a 5-3 record after their 49-43 non-league loss to Concordia (Omaha, NE).
