The Bovina Mustangs topped the host River Road Wildcats basketball team by a final score of 42-34 in Saturday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Mustangs face the Hart Longhorns (Hart, TX) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, January 2. Bovina will attempt to move on its 7-11 season record. The Longhorns enter the game with a 5-6 record after their 42-23 non-league win over Amherst (Amherst, TX).
