Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Millard West Wildcats (Omaha, NE) and the visiting Elkhorn South Storm (Omaha, NE), saw Millard West's basketball squad knock off Elkhorn South by a tally of 65-50.

With the victory, Millard West improves its record to 6-3 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Gretna East (Gretna, NE) to play the Griffins in a non-league challenge on Friday, January 5. The Griffins come into the challenge with a record of 3-6. Gretna East lost 82-56 in their recent league challenge against Millard North (Omaha, NE)

Next up, the Storm play the Westview (Omaha, NE) in a A District TBD challenge, on Thursday, January 4. Elkhorn South will attempt to improve on its 3-6 season record. The come into the challenge with a 5-4 record after their 79-49 non-league win over Bellevue East (Bellevue, NE).
