South Carolina High School Basketball - South Pointe fells Lower Richland

December 30, 2023: Hopkins, SC 29061

South Pointe Stallions (Rock Hill, SC) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Lower Richland Diamond Hornets (Hopkins, SC), 68-56 in a non-league bout.

With the win, South Pointe upgrades its record to 12-2 on the season. The Stallions travel to Catawba Ridge (Fort Mill, SC) to play the Copperheads in a AAAA Region 3 bout on Tuesday, January 9. The Copperheads go into the bout with a record of 2-12.

Next up, the Diamond Hornets play the River Bluff Gators (Lexington, SC) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 5. Lower Richland will attempt to upgrade on its 7-5 season record.
