Robinson Bulldogs (Concord, NC) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Concord Spiders (Concord, NC), 40-35 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Robinson upgrades its record to 6-3 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Lake Norman Charter (Huntersville, NC) to play the Knights in a non-league bout on Friday, January 5. The Knights come into the bout with a record of 8-1. Lake Norman Charter won 45-30 in their recent non-league bout against Carson (China Grove, NC)

Next up, the Spiders play the South Rowan Raiders (China Grove, NC) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 5. Concord will attempt to upgrade on its 7-3 season record. The Raiders come into the bout with a 1-7 record after their 52-31 non-league loss to Mount Pleasant (Mt. Pleasant, NC).
