The Desert Edge Scorpions (Goodyear, AZ) basketball toppled the host Westwood Warriors (Mesa, AZ), 69-58 in Monday's non-league bout.

The Scorpions now possess a 4-9 record. They play next when they travel to San Tan Charter for a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 31. Desert Edge will play a Roadrunners team coming off a 75-56 non-league loss to Atascocita (Humble, TX). The Roadrunners record now stands at 4-9.

With the loss, Westwood falls to 1-8 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Clovis East (Clovis, CA) to play the Timberwolves in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 2.
