Horizon Huskies (Scottsdale, AZ) boosters left the game satisfied Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the host Desert Edge Scorpions (Goodyear, AZ), 72-40 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Horizon upgrades its record to 8-6 on the year. The Huskies host Buckeye (Buckeye, AZ) to face the Hawks in a non-league match on Wednesday, January 8. The Hawks enter the match with a record of 1-7. Buckeye lost 68-44 in their recent non-league match against Del Norte (San Diego, CA)

The Scorpions now sport a 3-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Westwood for a non-league match on Monday, December 30.
