West Virginia High School Basketball - Notre Dame nudges South Harrison

December 30, 2024: Lost Creek, WV 26385

The crowd at Monday's non-league challenge between the Notre Dame Fighting Irish (Clarksburg, WV) and the host South Harrison Hawks (Lost Creek, WV), observed Notre Dame's basketball team edge South Harrison by a score of 39-34.

The Fighting Irish (6-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Hundred (Hundred, WV). The Hornets come into the non-league challenge with a 0-7 record. In their last challenge, Hundred was tipped by Valley (Pine Grove, WV), 72-31, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Hawks encounter the Doddridge County Bulldogs (West Union, WV) in a Little Kanawha - East challenge, on Thursday, January 2. South Harrison will attempt to improve on its 3-5 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 5-2 record after their 54-48 non-league win over Ravenswood (Ravenswood, WV).
