The Notre Dame Fighting Irish (Clarksburg, WV) basketball edged the visiting South Harrison Hawks (Lost Creek, WV), 42-37 in Saturday's non-league bout.

The Fighting Irish now possess a 2-0 record. They play next when they travel to Liberty for a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 10.

With the loss, South Harrison falls to 1-2 on the campaign. The Hawks host Webster County (Upper Glade, WV) to play the Highlanders in a Little Kanawha - East bout on Wednesday, December 11. The Highlanders go into the bout with a record of 0-1. Webster County lost 46-44 in their recent non-league bout against Tygarts Valley (Mill Creek, WV)
