December 31, 2024: Brownsville, TX 78521 The Lyford Bulldogs basketball team scored 79 points and limited the host IDEA Robindale Aviators to 37 in the Bulldogs league triumph on Tuesday.
The Bulldogs now possess a 12-7 record. They play next when they host IDEA Weslaco Pike for a 3A Region IV District 32 game on Friday, January 3. Lyford will confront a Mavericks team coming off a 51-32 league loss to Progreso (Progreso, TX). The Mavericks record now stands at 4-8.
With the loss, IDEA Robindale falls to 1-6 on the campaign. The Aviators travel to Rio Hondo (Rio Hondo, TX) to confront the Bobcats in a 3A Region IV District 32 game on Friday, January 3.
