The Carlisle Chiefs basketball team scored 61 points and limited the host Virginia Episcopal School Bishops to 40 in the Chiefs league triumph on Wednesday.

The Chiefs now have a 4-3 record. They play next when they host Appomattox County for a non-league game on Saturday, December 7. Carlisle will confront a Raiders team coming off a 50-30 non-league win over Cumberland (Cumberland, VA). The Raiders record now stands at 1-1.

With the loss, Virginia Episcopal School falls to 2-2 on the campaign. The Bishops travel to Bassett (Bassett, VA) to confront the Bengals in a non-league game on Saturday, December 7. The Bengals go into the game with a record of 0-1.
