In Wednesday's non-league contest, the host Monroe Central Golden Bears basketball team scored a big 48-26 win over the Union City Indians.

The Golden Bears (5-2) will now prepare for their contest against Winchester Community (Winchester, IN). The Golden Falcons come into the non-league contest with a 4-3 record. In their last contest, Winchester Community was trounced by Delta (Muncie, IN), 57-47, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Indians battle the Ansonia Tigers (Ansonia, OH) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, December 7. Union City will attempt to better on its 2-5 season record. The Tigers come into the contest with a 1-2 record after their 45-40 league loss to Arcanum (Arcanum, OH).
