December 5, 2023: Stone Mountain, GA 30083 The Druid Hills Red Devils basketball team scored 73 points and held the host Stone Mountain Pirates to 61 in the Red Devils league triumph on Tuesday.
The Red Devils now sport a 6-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Clarkston for a AAAA Region 6 contest on Friday, December 8. Druid Hills will meet a Angoras team coming off a 61-47 league loss to Hapeville Charter (Atlanta, GA). The Angoras record now stands at 1-6.
The Pirates (2-3) will now prepare for their contest against Miller Grove (Lithonia, GA). The Wolverines enter the AAAA Region 6 contest with a 0-6 record. In their last contest, Miller Grove was outscored by Southwest DeKalb (Decatur, GA), 59-54, in a league contest.
