Georgia High School Basketball - Westminster crushes Stone Mountain
February 2, 2024: Stone Mountain, GA 30083 Westminster Wildcats (Atlanta, GA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Stone Mountain Pirates (Stone Mountain, GA), 81-31 in a league bout.
With the win, Westminster upgrades its record to 14-7 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Stephenson (Stone Mountain, GA) to clash with the Jaguars in a AAAA Region 6 bout on Saturday, February 3. The Jaguars go into the bout with a record of 6-15. Stephenson won 69-38 in their recent league bout against Clarkston (Clarkston, GA)
Next up, the Pirates clash with the Southwest DeKalb Panthers (Decatur, GA) in a AAAA Region 6 bout, on Saturday, February 3. Stone Mountain will attempt to upgrade on its 6-15 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 9-12 record after their 62-59 league loss to Hapeville Charter (Atlanta, GA).
