Mississippi High School Basketball - North Panola overwhelms Rosa Fort
December 5, 2023: Tunica, MS 38676 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the North Panola Cougars (Sardis, MS) and the host Rosa Fort Lions (Tunica, MS), saw North Panola's basketball squad wallop Rosa Fort by a tally of 60-23.
With the victory, North Panola improves its record to 5-2 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Holly Springs (Holly Springs, MS) to confront the Hawks in a 3A Region 2 challenge on Friday, December 8. The Hawks come into the challenge with a record of 5-7. Holly Springs won 54-49 in their recent league challenge against Independence (Independence, MS)
Next up, the Lions confront the Coahoma County Red Panthers (Clarksdale, MS) in a 3A Region 2 challenge, on Friday, December 8. Rosa Fort will attempt to improve on its 3-5 season record. The Red Panthers come into the challenge with a 8-2 record after their 61-39 non-league win over Greenville (Greenville, MS).
