Iowa High School Basketball - Westwood fells River Valley
December 5, 2023: Sloan, IA 51055 Westwood Rebels (Sloan, IA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting River Valley Wolverines (Correctionville, IA), 67-52 in a league bout.
With the win, Westwood upgrades its record to 5-1 on the season. The Rebels host Woodbury Central (Moville, IA) to play the Wildcats in a Western Valley - North bout on Friday, December 8. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 0-3. Woodbury Central lost 64-51 in their recent non-league bout against Alta-Aurelia (Alta, IA)
Next up, the Wolverines play the Ridge View Raptors (Holstein, IA) in a Western Valley - North bout, on Friday, December 8. River Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 2-2 season record.
