Iowa High School Basketball - Westwood fells Maple Valley-Anthon-Oto/Charter Oak-Ute
February 2, 2024: Sloan, IA 51055 Westwood Rebels (Sloan, IA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Maple Valley-Anthon-Oto/Charter Oak-Ute (Mapleton, IA), 65-54 in a league bout.
With the win, Westwood upgrades its record to 14-11 on the season. The Rebels host Woodbine (Woodbine, IA) to clash with the Tigers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 6. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 18-2.
Next up, the clash with the IKM/Manning Wolves (Manning, IA) in a non-league bout, on Monday, February 5. Maple Valley-Anthon-Oto/Charter Oak-Ute will attempt to upgrade on its 5-14 season record. The Wolves go into the bout with a 11-8 record after their 65-30 league win over Logan-Magnolia (Logan, IA).
