Iowa High School Basketball - Harlan topples Kuemper
December 5, 2023: Carroll, IA 51401 In Tuesday's league outing, the Harlan Cyclones (Harlan, IA) basketball squad beat the host Kuemper Knights (Carroll, IA), by a count of 56-42.
The Cyclones (4-0) will now prepare for their outing against Denison-Schleswig (Denison, IA). The Monarchs go into the Hawkeye Ten outing with a 2-3 record. In their last outing, Denison-Schleswig was topped by Glenwood (Glenwood, IA), 54-45, in a league outing.
The Knights now hold a 0-3 record. They play next when they travel to Red Oak for a Hawkeye Ten outing on Friday, December 8. Kuemper will clash with a Tigers squad coming off a 66-27 league loss to Shenandoah (Shenandoah, IA). The Tigers record now stands at 3-3.
