Kansas High School Basketball - Liberal can't hold off Valley Center

The Valley Center Hornets basketball team scored 34 points and restricted the visiting Liberal Redskins to 33 in the Hornets non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Hornets now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Andale for a non-league contest on Friday, December 8.

The Redskins (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Southwestern Heights (Kismet, KS). The Mustangs come into the non-league contest with a 1-1 record. In their last contest, Southwestern Heights was nudged by Holcomb (Holcomb, KS), 72-41, in a non-league contest.
