In Friday's non-league outing, the Andover Trojans (Andover, KS) basketball squad edged the host Valley Center Hornets (Valley Center, KS), by a count of 36-29.

The Trojans (15-0) will now prepare for their outing against Arkansas City (Arkansas City, KS). The Bulldogs go into the Ark Valley-Chisholm Trail II outing with a 6-8 record. In their last outing, Arkansas City was tipped by Goddard (Goddard, KS), 38-36, in a non-league outing.
