In Thursday's league contest, the visiting The Academy of the Holy Cross Tartans basketball team scored a big 75-28 triumph over the Archbishop Carroll Lions.

The Tartans (2-0) will now prepare for their contest against St. Andrew's Episcopal (Potomac, MD). The Lions go into the non-league contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, St. Andrew's Episcopal smashed St. John's Catholic Prep (Buckeystown, MD), 82-52, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Lions confront the Glenelg Country Dragons (Ellicott City, MD) in a non-league contest, on Friday, December 6. Archbishop Carroll will attempt to better on its 0-2 season record. The Dragons go into the contest with a 0-1 record after their 56-49 non-league loss to Mount de Sales Academy (Catonsville, MD).
