The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Bishop Ireton Cardinals (Alexandria, VA) and the visiting The Academy of the Holy Cross Tartans (Kensington, MD), observed Bishop Ireton's basketball team overwhelm The Academy of the Holy Cross by a score of 93-33.

The Cardinals (9-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Manchester (Midlothian, VA). The Lancers come into the non-league challenge with a 5-1 record. In their last challenge, Manchester trounced L.C. Bird (Chesterfield, VA), 47-42, in a league challenge.
