North Carolina High School Basketball - Union routs Jones

December 5, 2024: Rose Hill, NC 28458

In Thursday's non-league contest, the host Union Spartans basketball team scored a big 50-28 triumph over the Jones Trojans.

The Spartans (1-5) will now prepare for their contest against Douglas Byrd (Fayetteville, NC). The Eagles go into the non-league contest with a 3-1 record. In their last contest, Douglas Byrd smashed Red Springs (Red Springs, NC), 35-22, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Trojans confront the Hobbton Wildcats (Newton Grove, NC) in a non-league contest, on Friday, December 6. Jones will attempt to better on its 1-4 season record. The Wildcats go into the contest with a 0-2 record after their 55-22 non-league loss to Midway (Dunn, NC).
