North Carolina High School Basketball - Union Academy routs Montgomery Central

December 5, 2024: Monroe, NC 28110

In Thursday's non-league contest, the host Union Academy Cardinals basketball team scored a big 73-33 triumph over the Montgomery Central Timberwolves.

The Cardinals (4-0) will now prepare for their contest against Pine Lake Prep (Mooresville, NC). The Pride go into the non-league contest with a 1-4 record. In their last contest, Pine Lake Prep was trounced by Christ the King (Huntersville, NC), 61-27, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Timberwolves confront the Anson Bearcats (Wadesboro, NC) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, December 10. Montgomery Central will attempt to better on its 3-5 season record. The Bearcats go into the contest with a 2-3 record after their 51-49 non-league win over Chesterfield (Chesterfield, SC).
