Van Vleck Leopards (Van Vleck, TX) boosters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Columbia Roughnecks (West Columbia, TX), 44-42 in a non-league game.

The Leopards now have a 10-3 record. They play next when they host Santa Fe for a non-league game on Tuesday, December 9. Van Vleck will confront a Indians team coming off a 52-41 non-league loss to Clemens (Schertz, TX). The Indians record now stands at 3-13.

With the loss, Columbia falls to 4-7 on the campaign. The Roughnecks travel to Pasadena (Pasadena, TX) to confront the Eagles in a non-league game on Tuesday, December 9.
