Nevada High School Basketball - Pershing County holds off Eureka

In Friday's non-league contest, the host Pershing County Mustangs basketball team scored a close 37-36 triumph over the Eureka Vandals.

The Mustangs (3-1) will now prepare for their contest against Bishop Union (Bishop, CA). The Broncos go into the non-league contest with a 2-0 record. In their last contest, Bishop Union nipped Eureka (Eureka, NV), 35-33, in a non-league contest.

Next up, the Vandals face the Mineral County Serpents (Hawthorne, NV) in a non-league match, on Friday, December 5. Eureka will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record. The Serpents enter the match with a 0-1 record after their 24-17 non-league loss to Beatty (Beatty, NV).
