The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Pershing County Mustangs (Lovelock, NV) and the host Mineral County Serpents (Hawthorne, NV), observed Pershing County's basketball team triumph over Mineral County by a count of 45-13.

With the victory, Pershing County advances its record to 5-1 on the year. The Mustangs host Coral Academy of Science - Reno (Reno, NV) to meet the Falcons in a 2A Northern match on Tuesday, December 9. The Falcons enter the match with a record of 2-2. Coral Academy of Science - Reno lost 45-38 in their recent non-league match against Sparks (Sparks, NV)

The Serpents now own a 0-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Sierra Lutheran for a non-league match on Friday, January 2.
