Homer Mariners (Homer, AK) fans exited the stadium happy Friday as they observed their ice hockey squad achieve victory over the visiting Tri-Valley Warriors (Healy, AK), 8-5 in a non-league game.

With the win, Homer improves its record to 1-7 on the season. The Mariners host Palmer (Palmer, AK) to play the Moose in a Northern Lights bout on Saturday, December 6. The Moose go into the bout with a record of 9-2. Palmer won 5-2 in their recent league bout against Kenai Central (Kenai, AK)

With the defeat, Tri-Valley drops to 1-4 on the year. The Warriors travel to Delta (Delta Junction, AK) to clash with the Huskies in a Aurora match on Friday, January 23. The Huskies enter the bout with a record of 1-6.
