Iowa High School Basketball - Belle Plaine tops Tri-County
December 6, 2022: Belle Plaine, IA 52208 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Belle Plaine Plainsmen (Belle Plaine, IA) and the visiting Tri-County Trojans (Thornburg, IA), saw Belle Plaine's basketball squad knock off Tri-County by a tally of 54-38.
With the victory, Belle Plaine improves its record to 3-1 on the campaign. The Plainsmen host Sigourney (Sigourney, IA) to play the Savages in a South Iowa Cedar challenge on Friday, December 9. The Savages come into the challenge with a record of 3-2. Sigourney won 65-42 in their recent league challenge against English Valleys (North English, IA)
Next up, the Trojans play the Keota Eagles (Keota, IA) in a South Iowa Cedar challenge, on Friday, December 9. Tri-County will attempt to improve on its 1-4 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 5-2 record after their 48-46 league win over Iowa Valley (Marengo, IA).
