December 6, 2022: Calhoun, GA 30701 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Sonoraville Phoenix (Calhoun, GA) and the visiting Unity Christian Lions (Rome, GA), saw Sonoraville's basketball squad wallop Unity Christian by a tally of 83-41.
With the victory, Sonoraville improves its record to 5-0 on the campaign. The Phoenix travel to Pickens (Jasper, GA) to confront the Dragons in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 9. The Dragons come into the challenge with a record of 3-1. Pickens won 75-66 in their recent league challenge against Gilmer (Ellijay, GA)
Next up, the Lions confront the Harvester Christian Academy Hawks (Douglasville, GA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 9. Unity Christian will attempt to improve on its 2-5 season record. The Hawks come into the challenge with a 4-0 record after their 87-24 non-league win over LaGrange Academy (LaGrange, GA).
