December 6, 2023: Fort Washington, PA 19034 The Germantown Academy Patriots (Fort Washington, PA) basketball knocked off the visiting Pennington Red Raiders (Pennington, NJ), 71-60 in Wednesday's non-league test.
The Patriots (1-1) will now prepare for their test against Friends' Central (Wynnewood, PA). The go into the non-league test with a 4-1 record. In their last test, Friends' Central notched a victory over Haverford School (Haverford, PA), 68-65, in a non-league test.
The Red Raiders now own a 3-1 record. They play next when they travel to Mercersburg Academy for a Mid-Atlantic Prep A test on Saturday, December 9. Pennington will encounter a Blue Storm squad coming off a 71-50 non-league loss to Highland (Warrenton, VA). The Blue Storm record now stands at 4-2.
