Friends' Central (Wynnewood, PA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Germantown Academy Patriots (Fort Washington, PA), 61-50 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Friends' Central upgrades its record to 5-1 on the season. The host Episcopal Academy (Newtown Square, PA) to clash with the Churchmen in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 9. The Churchmen go into the bout with a record of 1-1. Episcopal Academy lost 76-65 in their recent non-league bout against Pennington (Pennington, NJ)

Next up, the Patriots clash with the Girard College Cavaliers (Philadelphia, PA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 9. Germantown Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record. The Cavaliers go into the bout with a 1-1 record after their 45-23 league win over Foundation Collegiate Academy (Trenton, NJ).
