Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Haverford School fells Germantown Academy
January 17, 2024: Haverford, PA 19041 Haverford School Fords (Haverford, PA) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Germantown Academy Patriots (Fort Washington, PA), 58-38 in a league bout.
With the win, Haverford School upgrades its record to 9-8 on the season. The Fords host Episcopal Academy (Newtown Square, PA) to clash with the Churchmen in a Inter-Academic bout on Friday, January 19. The Churchmen go into the bout with a record of 7-3. Episcopal Academy won 63-46 in their recent non-league bout against Parish Episcopal (Dallas, TX)
Next up, the Patriots clash with the William Penn Charter Quakers (Philadelphia, PA) in a Inter-Academic bout, on Saturday, January 20. Germantown Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 7-6 season record. The Quakers go into the bout with a 6-8 record after their 61-56 league loss to Malvern Prep (Malvern, PA).
