December 6, 2023: Fredericksburg, VA 22401 James Monroe Yellow Jackets (Fredericksburg, VA) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Manassas Park Cougars (Manassas Park, VA), 104-30 in a non-league bout.
With the win, James Monroe upgrades its record to 3-0 on the season. The Yellow Jackets travel to Riverbend (Fredericksburg, VA) to clash with the Bears in a non-league bout on Friday, December 8. The Bears go into the bout with a record of 0-3. Riverbend lost 63-43 in their recent non-league bout against Charlottesville (Charlottesville, VA)
Next up, the Cougars clash with the Park View Patriots (Sterling, VA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 8. Manassas Park will attempt to upgrade on its 0-5 season record. The Patriots go into the bout with a 1-2 record after their 77-54 non-league win over Brentsville District (Nokesville, VA).
