In Friday's non-league contest, the host La Porte Slicers basketball team scored a good 62-54 triumph over the Plymouth Pilgrims/Rockies.

The Slicers (1-2) will now prepare for their contest against New Prairie (New Carlisle, IN). The Cougars go into the non-league contest with a 0-2 record. In their last contest, New Prairie was topped by Marquette Catholic (Michigan City, IN), 53-36, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Pilgrims/Rockies battle the South Bend Riley Wildcats (South Bend, IN) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, December 10. Plymouth will attempt to better on its 2-2 season record. The Wildcats go into the contest with a 4-0 record after their 109-48 non-league win over South Bend Career Academy (South Bend, IN).
