Tennessee High School Basketball - Wayne County holds off Summertown

In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting Wayne County Wildcats basketball team scored a close 63-56 triumph over the Summertown Eagles.

The Wildcats (3-2) will now prepare for their contest against Lewis County (Hohenwald, TN). The Panthers go into the non-league contest with a 5-1 record. In their last contest, Lewis County nipped Camden Central (Camden, TN), 59-54, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Eagles confront the Central Magnet (Murfreesboro, TN) in a non-league contest, on Monday, December 9. Summertown will attempt to better on its 4-3 season record. The go into the contest with a 4-4 record after their 44-26 non-league loss to White County (Sparta, TN).
