The Prince Edward County Eagles got by the host Gretna Hawks basketball squad by a final score of 55-50 in Friday's non-league outing.

Next, the Eagles clash with the Altavista Colonels (Altavista, VA) in a non-league outing, on Monday, December 9. Prince Edward County will attempt to upgrade on its 3-0 season record. The Colonels come into the outing with a 0-2 record after their 37-20 non-league loss to Brookville (Lynchburg, VA).

The Hawks (1-1) will now prepare for their outing against Tunstall (Dry Fork, VA). The Trojans come into the non-league outing with a 2-1 record.
