In Saturday's non-league contest, the visiting Caliche Buffaloes basketball team scored a big 64-30 win over the Lone Star Longhorns.

The Buffaloes (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Weldon Valley (Weldona, CO). The Warriors come into the non-league contest with a 1-1 record. In their last contest, Weldon Valley was trounced by Union Colony Prep (Greeley, CO), 87-70, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Longhorns battle the Peetz Bulldogs (Peetz, CO) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, December 9. Lone Star will attempt to better on its 0-2 season record. The Bulldogs enter the match with a 0-1 record after their 46-42 non-league loss to Prairie (New Raymer, CO).
