The Porter Ridge Pirates basketball team (Indian Trail, NC), was overwhelmed 45-22 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the visiting Ardrey Kell Knights (Charlotte, NC)

The Knights now possess a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Independence for a non-league battle on Friday, December 10. Ardrey Kell will confront a Patriots team coming off a 49-47 non-league loss to Hopewell (Huntersville, NC). The Patriots record now stands at 3-1.

The Pirates (3-3) will now prepare for their battle against Hopewell (Huntersville, NC). The Titans come into the non-league battle with a 4-1 record. In their last battle, Hopewell trounced Independence (Charlotte, NC), 49-47, in a non-league battle.
