The Lyons Lions basketball team scored 56 points and held the host Hinsdale Central Red Devils to 42 in the Lions league triumph on Tuesday.

The Lions now sport a 6-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Glenbard West for a West Suburban - Silver contest on Friday, December 10. Lyons will meet a Hilltoppers team coming off a 56-51 league win over Hinsdale Central (Hinsdale, IL). The Hilltoppers record now stands at 5-2.

The Red Devils (1-4) will now prepare for their contest against Downers Grove North (Downers Grove, IL). The Trojans come into the West Suburban - Silver bout with a 8-1 record. In their last bout, Downers Grove North toppled Lincoln-Way East (Frankfort, IL), 43-23, in a non-league bout.
