The McCool Junction Mustangs routed the host High Plains Storm basketball team by a final score of 59-26 in Thursday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Mustangs face the Sutton Mustangs (Sutton, NE) in a non-league game, on Friday, December 8. McCool Junction will attempt to move on its 2-1 season record. The Mustangs enter the game with a 1-1 record after their 44-41 non-league win over Heartland (Henderson, NE).
