Maryland High School Basketball - High Point ripped by Laurel
December 7, 2023: Laurel, MD 20707 The Laurel Spartans basketball team scored 77 points and held the visiting High Point Eagles to 2 in the Spartans league triumph on Thursday.
The Spartans now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bladensburg for a Prince George's County 4A contest on Tuesday, December 12. Laurel will meet a Mustangs team coming off a 59-12 league loss to Eleanor Roosevelt (Greenbelt, MD). The Mustangs record now stands at 0-1.
The Eagles (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Parkdale (Riverdale, MD). The Panthers enter the Prince George's County 4A contest with a 1-0 record.
