Texas High School Basketball - Schulenburg holds off Brazos
December 7, 2024: Schulenburg, TX 78956 In Saturday's non-league contest, the host Schulenburg Shorthorns basketball team scored a close 62-58 triumph over the Brazos Cougars.
The Shorthorns (2-2) will now prepare for their contest against Bellville (Bellville, TX). The Brahmas go into the non-league contest with a 0-3 record. In their last contest, Bellville was tipped by Hudson (Lufkin, TX), 55-46, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Cougars confront the Somerville Yeguas (Somerville, TX) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, December 10. Brazos will attempt to better on its 3-5 season record. The Yeguas go into the contest with a 2-2 record after their 52-42 non-league loss to Brazos Christian (Bryan, TX).
